Date: January 9, 2025
Nova Technology Corp. (“NOVA,” Taipei Stock Exchange: 6613 TT) announced today its consolidated revenue for December 2024 reached NT$1,194 million, representing a monthly increase of 27.01% and an annual increase of 27.52%, setting a record high for monthly revenue. In Q4 2024, consolidated revenue amounted to NT$30,20 million, reflecting a quarterly increase of 9.84% and an annual increase of 12.46%, establishing a new quarterly revenue record. For the entire year of 2024, consolidated revenue surpassed the 10-billion-mark, totaling NT$10.38billion, with a year-on-year growth of 13.59%, also setting an all-time annual high.
Nova's revenue in December delivered impressive results, primarily driven by early shipment recognition of orders for High Purity Chemicals Dispensing System& Packaging System equipment from semiconductor-related clients, along with contributions from large orders in Singapore and China. Moreover, as multiple countries pursue semiconductor self-sufficiency goals, Nova has leveraged its strengths in multi-regional deployment to achieve significant revenue growth in Q4 2024, particularly in Southeast Asia , annual increases of 115.5%, respectively. This underscores Nova's effective business expansion across diverse regions, contributing to the historical revenue growth achieved in Q4 2024 and for the entire year.
With the semiconductor industry facing shifts in global geopolitics, governments worldwide are implementing policies to strengthen local supply chains. This includes observing the ongoing expansion of mature process capacity in China, while large OSATs are increasing their operational capacity in Taiwan and Southeast Asia and actively investing in advanced packaging such as CoWoS. These developments are expected to positively influence Nova's operations. Nova is optimistic about the widespread establishment of Fabs and the OSATs in Asia, not only expanding its order base steadily in Taiwan and China but also continuously evaluating plans to establish a subsidiary in Malaysia. The company aims to integrate group resources to capitalize on business opportunities in Japan, which is expected to drive strong operational momentum for Nova in the future.
