Stakeholder

While Nova Tech continues to pursue excellence in corporate development, it also actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility. Nova Tech's management is committed to addressing economic, social, and environmental issues, corporate governance, and other matters related to the company's sustainable development. In line with the "Code of Practice for Sustainable Development of Listed Companies," it has formulated the "Code of Practice for Sustainable Development" and established a sustainability promotion team to propose and implement related policies and systems.

To enhance the management of sustainability, the General Manager's Office serves as the dedicated (part-time) unit responsible for proposing and implementing sustainability policies or systems and reporting to the Board of Directors regularly. The Board of Directors, in turn, monitors the business progress of each group based on reports from the Sustainability Promotion Group. It also develops a vision and mission for corporate sustainability, makes statements on sustainability policies, and ensures the disclosure of relevant information. This process takes into account the company’s operational performance and its implementation of social, environmental, and governance sustainability measures. Moreover, Nova Tech reports the progress of greenhouse gas inventory and verification to the Board of Directors quarterly in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Sustainability Promotion Team is composed of the General Manager's Office, the Support Centre, the Management Department, the Logistics Department, the Industrial Safety Department, and the Technology and Environment Department. It is divided into three groups: the Corporate Governance and Economics Group, the Employee and Social Care Group, and the Sustainable Environment and Products and Services Group. Within the Sustainable Environment and Products and Services Group, the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Group and the Risk Management Group have been established. In 2022, the Risk Management Team was formed to comprehensively assess the likelihood and impact of various risks associated with business activities and management processes. Its responsibilities include risk identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation.
