Novatech places a strong emphasis on ESG for sustainable corporate development. The world is currently facing a severe climate crisis, with the operating environment changing rapidly. In response to these challenges, we have a comprehensive understanding of various adaptation policies. We use the TCFD framework to assess the risks and opportunities presented by climate change, and we implement corresponding strategies and actions. We proactively review our performance in the three major dimensions of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) on a regular basis. We stay up-to-date on ESG issues, strengthen our research and development capabilities, enhance operational efficiency in manufacturing and management, and organize educational training to raise awareness among our employees regarding climate change and ESG. Through industry-academia cooperation and resource investments, we nurture the next generation of tech talent and actively promote knowledge transfer. We keep a close eye on international net-zero development and domestic energy transition policies. We integrate the Financial Supervisory Commission's "Corporate Governance 3.0 - Sustainable Development Roadmap" into our business development, incorporating ESG strategies at various stages of our goals.
Novatech will continue to focus on our core business, further refining our existing high-value resource recycling systems. We will utilize our core technologies for continuous improvement and innovation. With a practical mindset, alongside our commitment to operational growth, we aim to create value that benefits various stakeholders. Novatech has consistently adhered to the principles of "integrity" and "practicality" in our steady operations. In 2022, the company faced
a complex and uncertain external environment due to the impact of the pandemic, fluctuations in economic and trade conditions, supply
chain shortages, and the rapid escalation of energy and commodity prices, exacerbated by the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In response to these
challenges, Novatech swiftly and flexibly adjusted our operational strategies to mitigate external impacts while maintaining uninterrupted
operations, continuing to progress towards our sustainability goals. Thanks to the collective efforts of all employees, customers, and supply
chain partners, the company achieved a consolidated operating revenue of NT$8,593 million, representing an increase of approximately 37%
compared to the NT$6,260 million in consolidated revenue in 2021. Novatech remains committed to enhancing our long-term operational
capabilities.
