Corporate Volunteering

To make corporate citizenship part of our business operations, we encourage employees to take part in philanthropic activities and volunteer as well in hopes of bringing warmth to the disadvantaged. For the purpose of voluntary philanthropy, the Company has initiated the "Volunteer Incentive Program" to encourage more employees to volunteer in local activities by offering volunteer leave and extra credits to the performance evaluation. Volunteering furthers the development of the surrounding communities and is also a great contribution to society. In 2019, 22 employees volunteered for the "2019 Happy Breathing Children Charity Fair" organized by the Youth at Risk Ministry in Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu and the Hsinchu County Youth Volunteers Association to raise funds for happy breathing children. In response to the "Send Love to Tribe" project initiated by Children Are Us Foundation at the Mid-Autumn Festival, we subscribed for 50 boxes of moon cakes for disadvantaged children in remote areas and mentally challenged children to create life dynamics for them; in addition, we encouraged employees to sponsor the Thanksgiving Day event organized by the Harmony Home Foundation Taiwan. Adhering to the spirit of "compassion and service for all," we took concrete action to arouse more people's support and care for these children, which was expected to improve the quality of care and at the same time raise our employees' respect to quality of life and health. In 2019, 22 employees volunteered in community activities for a total of 120 hours.

Community Participation

Upholding the spirit of social prosperity, the Company has long been in harmony with the communities nearing the operations. We have been interacting with community-based organizations actively to maintain good community relations. In 2019, Novatech and other companies in the office building participated in the community networking party to interact and share life stories with community neighbors, so as to build a cohesive and harmonious community.
